Yesterday was a busy day! First, we went to the rental car company (Europecar) to reserve our car for Switzerland. For some reason, when I looked at the price from the states, I was quoted well over $400. at the exact same time, Andre was on the exact same website, looking at the exact same car, and was quoted €230 something. Hmmm... So we waited until I was here and went to the rental company office. I got a Mercedes A Class for €242 (about $290) for a week. Don't be impressed with the fact that it is a Mercedes... it is the same class car as a Volkswagen Golf!
After the car rental place we went to the grocery store and then came home so Christian could be picked up to go to a movie. Andre's brother, Kay, took Christian to Hannover to see a movie in English, and have dinner. He had a good time, but Kay is just as shy as Christian, so I am sure they didn't say more than a handful of words!
After Christian was picked up, I walked to Valeria's and we went shopping. we stopped at H&M, the 1€ store, and a few other places on the plaza. The best part about the plaza is that it is hiding a giant mall! Inside the mall there are the usual clothes shops, a Game Stop(!), a fruit market(!!), and a grocery store!!! The best part was, a Reformhaus (health food store) where I hit the gluten free mother load! Rack after rack of gf goodies (chocolate filled croissants!) and even my beloved and sorely missed yogurt.
After shopping, we decided to get dinner. We tried a Mexican place but when I gave him my GF dining card he said there was nothing that I could eat. :( We ended up at (believe it or not) an Italian Tratoria where the waitress knew exactly what I could and could not eat. She recommended the steak with a side of spinach and a salad.

So pictures. For some reason, I can't upload them to Blogger from the computer I am using, so I have uploaded them all to Facebook and set the privacy so that anyone can see them. I will link to them, but if anyone has any problems seeing them let me know. I will try to include a picture in each post so it doesn't look so boring, but it is kind of a pain in the butt to do so, so probably only one!
